Since the first time we walked into our newly-gutted space, I've really wanted a supergraphic somewhere in the space. Not just a big "OrangeBeautiful" on the wall - something more fun, like "WORD" in Old English across the back, or "PAPER" above our flat files...
Typography Wall Graphic, $69.00 by Veer.
Well, our plans for some fancy-pants wallpaper in the bathroom fell through due to budget constraints, so we're on to new ideas for that space. This could be the perfect opportunity to design something fabulous...
We've already planned for two adjacent walls of bright green
(BEHR Japanese Fern 400B-6 to be exact) in the bathroom with this amazing mirror, in Soft White, above the sink... a giant typography design going across that corner (and maybe even falling behind the mirror a little) could be the perfect finishing touch on an otherwise unimpressive space.
Rather than paint something directly on the wall (which could be extra tricky and time-consuming), we're thinking a vinyl applique would work best... and following in the genius footsteps of Veer (creators of the wall vinyl shown here), we could do something that's built out of individual components... making installation much easier and allowing us to consolidate the entire piece into a smaller overall piece of vinyl (i.e. cheaper!) -
I'm definitely not up for anything too literal (no "wash your hands" or anything bathroom-themed ;) - but maybe something design, printing, or paper-related?
What do you think our supergraphic should say?
