Orange Girl Photographs :: business stationery
Check out these lovely photos by Kirstie Tweed, from Orange Girl Photographs of her new stationery... courtesy of OrangeBeautiful! I wasn't responsible for her logo design - she already had that - but I did lay out the business cards, notecards & envelopes, incorporating the logo & clean look and feel Kirstie was going for.
I loved working on something with so much orange in it (both in the color & the name!) - and Kirstie was a joy to work with from beginning to end. Hopefully, we'll have more projects to work on together in the future!
Oh, for those interested, the cards are Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite 130# dtc (double-thick cover), die-cut with rounded corners. The envelopes are a slightly-iridescent orange 4-bar, called Stardream Flame.
The above image shows the back of the business card & the front of the envelopes... I really love doing "address labels" printed directly onto an envelope - it looks very custom and makes it easier to hand address a bulk mailing!

thanks for the comments, everyone!
bukola :: the photography from this particular post is from Orange Girl Photographs, so I can't take credit for that... the photographs used for OrangeBeautiful's products are mostly taken in our (gorgeous ;) studio - and almost always with natural light.
we're lucky enough to have very high windows and northern light, so most of the time the lighting near the back of the studio is perfect for product shots.
And yes, you're right - selling your product online is definitely more successful with a set of good photographs. If you're not up for shooting images yourself, it's always recommended to hire a professional (like Kirstie!) to do that for you... always a good investment!
Hi,
i love these stationery. they were so great and all in your fave color too. You must have been in heaven!
I am curious. How do your product photography come out so great? Do you use special camera, special lighting, natural light in that gorgeous studio of yours? I am opening an etsy shop soon, and I know good photography is paramount. So I was just curious.
Thanks!
These are so pretty! You did a great job on them!
Hi Emily, I just dropped in to gush for a moment! I was the fortunate recipient of a package from Kirstie and, it had to be one of the most wonderful things I've ever received in the mail! Beautiful work. Just beautiful!
emily, these are fabulous! i love everything about them, including the orange :)
These are sweet. And I bet it was fun to work in your "signature" color with someone else in mind!
