Colleen's Historic Home :: Part Two
I had so many photos to share of my friend Colleen's gorgeous home that I had to split them up into two parts. Today I'll be sharing some additional room angles and details, plus a fabulous full bath on the first floor.
The kitchen was a masterful renovation. The tile backsplash (from Granada Tiles) serves as a focal point here - truly stunning.
Tableware collections are displayed in the centrally-located dining room on a chrome and glass shelving piece as well as the house's original built-in shelves.
Other collected items find their home atop built-in shelves in the office, located just off the front foyer.
The full bath on the first floor is like a mini-gallery of beautifully framed artwork. The patterned shower curtain balances the assortment of artwork, and unexpected elements like vintage bowling pins add fun to the space.
Many, many thanks again to Colleen for allowing me to share her talents on the SCOOP!

What an incredible house! I am in love with the Granada tile backsplash.

love this tour -- thanks :)
I did my homework, Colleen! The house shows as great as it truly feels inside! Dreams, here we come! Started classes again this week - we'll talk soon.
Wow - that tile in the kitchen is extremely cool. If I had that in my kitchen, I might actually spend more time there. Thanks for sharing your home with all of us. It's truly inspiring!
Kent, you are welcome here any time! It tends to get cold here in cleveland so the porch might be tricky in the winter months!
The blue/brown vintage bird wallpaper is from an online store called Hannah's treasures. I bought all that she had of this design! The funky yellow paper in my dining room was a find on ebay for pennies!! Thanks for all the positive comments! It is so fun to share the things you love with other people!
The wallpaper in this home.. I'm in love. Where do you find stuff like this these days?
Nice wallpaper choices!
Col, You need to let me move in....again.....I'll live in the sunroom with Shyla!!
Love it! Great walls in the kitchen!
it's official...i'm obsessed with this house. really cool.
I cannot get over how much I love that tile in the kitchen... figures, though - since I'm currently obsessed with all things B&W ;)
