Thank you notes
I'm in the midst of writing thank-you notes from baby showers. I decided to make them because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I flush-mounted wrapping paper to pre-cut Luxe Blush cards (4-bar size), and paired the cards with metallic antique gold envelopes. I think I'm writing more personal notes, having put a personal touch on the cards themselves.

Allison, don't you love the Martha papers? I also ended up lining the baby's dresser drawers with it; I'll show some pics in an upcoming post.
Oh, the Martha paper from Michael's. I love it!
tto :: the term flush-mounted refers to (in this case) attaching one full piece of paper to another - with the end result looking as if they are one piece. So, the edges of the piece of wrapping paper are 'flush' (or even) w/ the edges of the cards that Laura mounted it to...
the easiest way to do this is by using a spray adhesive on the back side of one of the pieces you're looking to mount. (L may have used something called a XYRON machine which is the same idea, but a dry, flat - not aerosol - adhesive that comes in a roll.) I ususally apply the adhesive to the piece that's slightly bigger - and then, after sticking...
what does "flush-mounted" mean?
yep!... got it in the mail yesterday...
so sweet & so "Laura"!

The one that's sitting on our kitchen counter right now looks pretty nice ;)
