As Jonathan Adler shows in this beautiful apartment foyer, the perfect accent to a console table is a pair of x-benches. This can be especially true in an apartment, where limited space can dictate the amount of seating available; tucking the benches underneath the console makes both aesthetic and spatial sense.
Adler's version of the X-bench is shown above, and the prices begin at $700 depending on the grade of fabric chosen. It's beautifully proportioned and the fabric choices are indeed luxe. However...
I spotted Ballard Designs' version of the x-bench, and what a comparative bargain! Prices start at $169 depending on fabric grade. The image above shows the bench in White Basketweave for $207.97.

Franki, thanks for your comment--I'm going to switch out the celery boucle image for one in the white fabric for a better comparison!
Nice detective work! I have to say, Jonathan's still win out in the end, if for no other reason than the general whiteness of them, but I do see they come in white and are nearly identical!
