I saw the same ad in W magazine, along with another one which showed two ballet slipper (kate spade of course) on tippy toe above a set of piano keys. The image was so breath-taking that I framed it in a simple black frame. I get compliments on it all the time!!
Good question Jamie! I post images and objects (swatches, shells, cards, etc) in rotation on a bulletin board next to my computer so I have constant visual inspiration. Most of the images come from favorite blog posts and together the composition is like a creative snapshot of what's currently running through my head. Sounds like I need to post a pic of the board!
What's your inspiration board all about?
How can anyone resist this campaign?! It goes back to what I love about good ads....they are selling a lifestyle before the product itself. It's allowing us to envision our ideal lives and then determine that this product fits into that fabulous life.
