Vintage Finds :: Hoot Nanny
Check out this amazing find from a local antique shop... This Spirograph-esque toy still had its original (if not, slightly smashed) box, the instructions sheet and a piles of already completed designs, printed on small circles of paper.
I didn't really buy this for any other reason than, well, it's awesome - but I'm sure I'll come up with some clever uses for it. (Maybe some spiral designs on book covers?)

I had one of these when I was a kid and I loved it and never forgot it. I just bought an imitation at Barnes & Nobel for my husband for Christmas. I hope he appreciates it too.
ely :: you can get pre-cut circles from Paper Source...
or you could get one of these Martha Stewart Craft circle cutters.
hope that helps!
Any idea where one can get the round pieces of paper?
so pretty...
wow i am blown away by that! love the erector-set-esque arms *JEALOUS*
I have one of these!!!! Actually, it is my dad's, and was a very sacred toy to play with on "special occasions." You would have to cut out a round piece of paper, and experiment with the perfect pen or pencil to get a good drawing. It's in a red box, with the image of a genie, and the contraption is red metal instead of green, but other than that is is EXACT. I hope to inherit it and pass it on for for future generations to (carefully) play with.
I love it, especially the name. I have a collection of spirograph kits that I don't think I've ever used, but see some potential for something awesome. Good luck!
