ICP 2009 :: I wanna be a supermodel...

Or at least that's how I feel wearing my new Black White Shrug from Los Angeles-based designer, PINaR ERIS. I'm definitely a big fan of stripes - especially the bold contrast of B&W stripes - and I had been searching for a lighterweight, "jacket-ish" piece that I would be versatile enough that I could wear it with a t-shirt and shorts, but stylish and unique enough that I could dress it up as well...

and I found it!

Melissa :: I ordered a size 0 - I'm the same way you are - pretty narrow, and usually a 2... this particular piece is really soft and pretty flowy where the pleats fall in the front. I ordered it without the ribbon ties, because I just wanted to have it open rather than tie it and have it be more form-fitting.

With or without the ribbon, I'd probably go for the smaller size. Hope that helps!

Oh, one question. Can I ask what size you purchased? I'm normally a 2, but I'm pretty narrow, so in jackets I sometimes take a 0.

I must have it! I'm a huge fan of b/w stripes too. I have a b/w striped Club Monaco sweater, and my husband calls me the Hamburgler every time I wear it, but that won't stop me!
